Information
The goal of our course is to train Physical and Occupational Therapy professionals in patient selection, application of the technique and evaluation scales, as well as present scientific evidence, background, and ongoing research on Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy®.
Since 2008, we have delivered over 60 training courses, certifying approximately 900 professionals in 13 Brazilian states.
The Constraint-Induced Therapy® group collaborates with ABRAFIN, contributing to the criteria and guidelines for the training course. We are authorized by the University of Alabama at Birmingham (USA), under Dr. Edward Taub’s team, the creator of the technique, who also collaborates with the material used in our course.
Our certificate is issued by the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar-SP), with endorsement from the Ministry of Education, as this is an extension activity approved by UFSCar-SP and coordinated by Prof. Dr. Natalia Duarte Pereira.
Pediatric CIMT Training for Upper Limbs
